Trawling the local auction, found this clean ride. US$3700 thereabouts. These are basically a skinny ES300, with a 2.5 V6 or 2.0 i4. I had one a couple of years back, was an excellent budget ride. Thought of the forum when I saw it. Enjoy!
Cheers, yea it's the weekend toy. Not as reliable as the Toyotas but a huge amount of fun. Bad stage V weapon, getting 275s for the rear to try and get some traction. 180+mph max speed, spins to 100mph if surface not great. Summer car shows coming up, and the ol' Zed is gaining collector/ nostalgia interest. Great looking cars too, IMO. I'll do a bit of pic whoring...
xtremeskier, what tow hitch? On the Scepter? Didn't see one on the Prominent. Car came to me finished like that with 6mths road taxes paid. Just scored a new windscreen from the buyer today too
Glad y'all like the shots, anytime I see some interesting Toyo's, I'll up 'em. NZ has a very active JDM scene, with some rare 60s & 70s stuff too. Heres a few for sale now in Auckland.
