What's wrong with the transmission and what does that stuff do?
What do the instructions say?

If you want to mix it with the transmission fluid, you just pour it in the dipstick tube for the transmission fluid. You fill the ATF the same way if you haven't done so before.

When you open your hood, you should see two dipsticks. The left one is for engine oil. The right one is for the transmission.

The above is assuming you have an automatic. If you have a manual transmission, you need to get under the car, find the fill plug and remove it, then pour the stuff in.

thanks for the help dude, I was thinking about the dipstick tube but was like nah. well its solder eal GUNK TRANSMEDIC. eliminates slippage, smoothes shifting and reduces engine wear and noise. Directions say to add it to the transmission fluid, thats all.

Are sure you want that thing in your transmission? Is there anything wrong with the transmission?

When was the last time you changed the transmission fluid? Automatics shift rougher as the fluid ages. Dexron III fluid is supposed to be change approx every 30000 miles or so.

You should try changing the fluid to see if that helps any. That could be the cause of the rough shifts and that stuff you're using would be a band aid solution that could make things worse.

If you need help to do it, there have been a lot of posts on this forum with guides, hints, and instructions.
