Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I believe the average for the I4 is 18sec., but I ran a 17.8, however I'm not stock. I have a SRI and cat-back exhaust, neither of which add any power. I think the only thing that shaved off .2 seconds for me was my polyurethane motor mount which helped with my launch.

VTEC It's like waiting for really bad sex.
Heavy car, low HP, FWD - my guess is my V6 wagon does 17.0, maybe a little better. Run 12.8 tho in my full-street Z32 (Lord, gimme traction!), the only thing I drag, should do better next run after further mods & borrowed MTs.
Man, this wagon is slooow! Great daily driver tho, never expected it to be a performance car. I have never seen a Camry on the strip, although a few of them are tow-tractors for other Toyota drag weapons.
15.800-18.000
Note:You have to have the manual v6 camry to pull off a high 15 second pass, and even if you do have a manual v6, you have to make every shift perfect and you have to react perfectly off the line. You probably have to have street performance tires or slicks.
tell me how they figure the 92 SE which unless im mistaken only came in a 5 speed is just 1 tenth of a second faster then the 94 SE which is an auto? 16 sounds about right though.
