3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
yep its true i done traded in my camry for an 05 scion tc. i was in the market for a celica but they are so hard to find so they showed me the tc and i was liking it. pics to come soon if you guys are interested
Actually when I was getting my Camry worked on a nice saleswoman directed me to the Scion's. Said they were no-haggle priced cars; the one I looked at stickered for $19k. Not bad for such a nice damn car. If they made a 4 door looking close to that, I would totally trade my Camry in tomorrow.

Hell if you need power you can actually pick from a handful of FI options and have more than enough power on that light ass car to beat most cars out there. Personally they have done it right with the TC but too bad there isn't a 4 door of a similar sporty car from toyota/scion yet.

The tC is hardly no lightweight at almost 3000lbs, even a supercharged version on paper would seem more like an even match against a stock Si, spec for spec.
The styling is the only thing about it that I like, the headlights reminding me of the BMW 7-Series.
