Looks great actually, let me know how that Eclipse Navi works for you, I'm interested in that as well.
Where are you getting this done at?
at a local shop listed in the u.s top 50 retail and top 100 installers
the only downside to the eclipse navi is that it is run by a dvd-rom :[ but other than that all is good, eclipse is one of the only navi systems with a 5v preamp out. the rest(pioneer,alpine,kenwood..etc) are all 2v
so thats what prompted me to get this one
it is duel cd slot, one for dvd(navigation/movies..etc) one for music
the other step up which is about 200 more the avn 6610 is the one with duel DVD slots... but who needs that
for the amp and subs, it depend on what type of music you listen, what kinda of box. get the right right box (better off getting custom built), hooking it up right (wired the subs to 1 ohm at the terminal cup on the box) and tuning it right. i have 500 watts and im louder then a guy with over 1000 watts.
20% is the product and 80% is hooking it up.
just my 2 cent

everything is going to be powered on a separate battery too hidden away in the trunk somewhere...
im ultimately looking for sound quality over the shaking your whole car with rap thing(nothing wrong with that)
those jl's were one step below their best subs and seemed very reasonable at 400watts a piece compared to some of whats out there around that price wattage wise...
i originally chose the RE AUDIO SE 10'' series(600 watts each) but decided to go with the jl's...

I've got 900W and I'm definitely not the loudest kid on the block. But it sounds far and above better than the garbage I hear coming from the other cars around... If mine is loud enough so that I can really really feel it in my gut and my seats are shaking, then what practical use do I have for going louder? Hearing damage? I don't think so. Quality>Quantity any day.
you have it done right, it will sound nice. with the right combo of amp subs box and hooking it up right, a tune (most people dont tune it, just start railing the subs and next thing some blows..), then no matter how much watts your running it will sound good. but hopefully soon to come for me are 2 12s boston G3 in a custom high out put ported box powered by a zapco i-force 1200.1 with upgrades to the charging system.. i.e. battery, big 3, probably a second battery, etc...
have fun with your new system
