I got some touch up paint from my local Toyota dealer.
Question is now, for those small ships from rocks hitting the hood, how do i remove the rust before i put the paint on?
O, and i managed to get A picture off before my camera's battery died.

Reason: added picture.
best bet is to get some masking tape and some newspaper and some sandpaper in a couple different grades from semi rough to fine. Sand the rust away and then use the finer grades to feather it out into the older paint. Mask it off, primer it, fine sand it, paint it, sand it again, then hit it with clear. Sand with fine grade and hit it with some polish. Done and done.

For the smallest "specks" that are starting to rust, I use a pencil eraser. Try it. It works well removing rust.

Yes, I've also seen some people gluing very small pieces of sandpaper to a pencil eraser to precisely sand down real small areas.

Use 1500-2000 grit wet sandpaper and just rub the area lightly until the rust is gone... You'll probably need to go over it with some rubbing compound because the sandpaper will scuff up the clear coat, but any decent rubbing compound will make it shiny again!
