Rear Windshield Leaking Water

Just wanted to know if there is any product i can use to seal up the leak. the top edges of my rear windshield leaks water everytime it rains. any suggestions what i can do myself...instead of going to a auto glass shop and get a new one...which will probably costs like 300 or so. I went to pepboys, but all they have is fixing holes in the windshields.

The only way to "fix" it is to remove the glass and replace the seal. It sucks, because I know it's not what you want to hear.

You might be able to put a huge ugly bead of sealant at the top of the trim, but even that won't work in all probability.

Might as well try some silocone based sealant before going to the auto glass shop...

They will probably want to take out your windshield and find the source of the leak....

I'm sure the window glass itself is OK, but they will have to remove and reinstall it to add a new seal. $300 sounds right, but hopefully cheaper.
