Thumbs up Who has done blow off valves?

Has anyone put a blow off valve on a non turbo camry? From what I've read it doesn't help to have a after market BOV on a non turbo car, but I couldn't find anything about the sound on a non turbo car. If I put a BOV on a non turbo camry will it still make the BOV sound? And how hard is it to put a BOV on a camry?

No. Their is not enough pressure on a n/a engine. It's their to help the turbo charger out.

This is funny, because I remember seeing something on ebay, where you put it in the tailpipe, and when you hit the gas, a little fan spools and sounds like a turbo when you take off, but as far as a BOV, I'm not sure.

That's rice as hell, btw.

Bov's are only for turbo'd cars. Don't even think about it.

The FAQ I read didn't look like it had a turbo in it. Unless I missread, It just looked like he slapped a BOV in there. Guess that was my bad . I was just checking, I wanted the Pssst sound when I changed gears, and turbos look like a pain to put in, at least in the DIY sticky on this forum.

So you just want the sound...

Well you can pay someone to sit behind you when you drive and make the sound.

The closest thing I found was a device you put in your tailpipe to make it sound like you have a BOV, haha

I don't want it to sound like I have a turbo I want it to sound like I have a Bov because I have a BOV. The FAQ I got off google said you could replace your stock one with with a BOV, maybe that's where I went wrong.
