Hey guys
I recently purchased a set of headlights with halos and I was wondering if you could help determine how I should connect them to my car (a 2000 camry).
Installation of the lights themselves look easy enough- just the removal of a few screws and disconnecting the harnesses, though i haven't done it yet because I want to get the halo installation correct first

Here you can see that two wires coming out of the halos somehows connects to four, is routed through a black box (what is that thing) with 3m backing. What are these things?

The two wires are routed through this plastic tubing. They are both the same color (red)
My questions are
1) Is there a resistor built into this set up or do I have to wire them in myself? (which I don't kno whow to do ..yet)
2) Both wires are red. How am I supposed to discern which one connects to what and what DO they connect to. (Parking light harness or something?)
3) What's the purpose of the two wires becoming four and then connecting to that little black thing only to become two again?
Sorry i'm a huge electrical noob. The most I've ever done electrical-wise was retrofit a metal halide HID lamp for an aquarium. and I followed a guide for that.
I have emailed the seller, but in case i don't get a reply, I was hoping you guys here could help me. Thanks!
