my friend was messing with the live feed on the radio wire to make the electric leather seats work cuz i just got leather seats...and i am not sure what happend but the radio, clock, dome light does not work.....and i check the fuse under the steering wheel and the one for the radio was blown...so i replace with a new one but still no work.also i notice the air bag sign show in the instrument pannel.Another thing was when i start the car and try to put in D, the transmission would not move while pressing the brake.I think the transmission had lock also for some reason...is this a big problem to fix.if anyone has any advise plz comment.thanks.

Check the 10A Starter fuse ... not exactly sure where it is located though.
Maybe look for an inline fuse in the vicinity of the starter on the engine.
Looked through fuse boxes, but didn't see it.
Think it is in Relay Box No. 1 .... left kick panel under dash ... steering wheel.
There should be another fuse box next to R/B no. 1. ... Check 15A ECU-IG fuse,
15A Tail fuse, and 15A Stop fuse. .... all related to trans shift lock function.

^^^^are u talking about the air bag i think i have to reset it by the DLC 1 and DLC2 by grounding it .
i was wondering if anyone can confirm if these are the step to reseting the air bag light.thanks.
1.i take two wires and put one in the AB & TC in DLC1
2.Then i take the wire from the TC and i toch the negative termainal of the battery to ground it.
3.Then i take the wire from the AB and touch the negative termainal of the battery.
4.then i pull out the two wires from the AB & TC and i put those wires in the DLC2 and repeat step. 2-3.
is this how u reset air bag light.
thanks for the input.
If you have Gen 3 V6 engine, do you have OBDII Diagnostic system? ...
or OBDI? If you have OBDII, then you can use any scan tool to check for DTC or clear any codes that have been set.
Also, see the Gen 3 SRS section of the online repair manual regarding procedure for checking SRS trouble codes, and clearing them.
There will also be diagrams and procedures for connecting the SRS connectors under the seats. .... Take a look at section 5 on p.56 of SRS section.
There is also procedure for using diagnosis check wire to determine DTC .... see p. 61. .... Doesn't exactly match the procedure listed in you post.
Also note the cautionary warning about turning ignition to LOCK, disconnecting negative battery cable, and waiting 90 sec before starting repair work. ...
Something about a backup power source for the SRS.
