3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
My favorite look is completely shaved with a monochrome paint job. Secondly, I don't care for the gold emblems on the red paint (I had those too if you recall and I debadged where I could and replace gold with chrome where I couldn't).
So...
I know this wasn't on your list, but my first choice would be to go with the shaved spare panel painted body color rather than black. Then if you ever finish the shave job on your trunk lid you'd have the perfect shave job (IMO).
If you're not going to go with the shaved panel in body color, then my choices from your list depend on whether or not you're going to finish the shave job on your trunk lid.
If you ARE, then I'd go with the shaved panel in black because I'd want to get rid of the
C A M R Y lettering if I could. Or I'd go with the SE panel so that I at least eliminated the "gold" emblems.
If you AREN'T going to finish the shave job on the trunk lid, then I'd probably stick with the factory panel. I think the combination of the gold trunk emblems on the red paint next to the black center panel, and especially the black SE panel with white lettering, would be too busy for me.
Eyeball has it right debadged and smoothed out gen 3.5 panel matching the rest of the car's color is the best or at least gen 3.5 with black chrome or something!!!
