Yea seriously, I get 25 mpg combined, and I don't have a heavy foot.

Plus, that's some damn cheap gas. The same gas costs about 47 dollars where I am.

Yep, was very scientific! Impressed that you could focus on both the camera & the road tho at 50mph. What do you get out of a tank, Venom?

That's like 5 to 6 gal for 125 miles. I don't see what's so impressive.

1) i can take camera pics of my dashboard easy if i place it on the wheel and let it do its thing ..... the beauty of knowing how to use a camera

2) i get between 450-500 miles on my 14.5 gals (+ 4gal reserve = 18.5 gal) ... so yeah, about 34mpg ... but ive never let it hit true empty ... so i can possibly squeeze a few more miles out of my tank using the reserve

3) i wasnt gunning it in the 2nd pic

and if you dont know, for some reason, i have a 5SFE

I'm not saying thats not good, but all of the cars i've owned have always stayed at or above the full mark for the first 30-40 miles. It seems as though the car is getting excellent mileage for the first half a tank, where you may have gone 230 or so miles at 1/2 a tank, however your down to 360 miles and it's already on E.

wow 2.969 a gallon!!!!! thats some damn expensive gas!!! was that regular or super or mid? just asking cause i think super was 2.89 the other day when i filled up. i dont usually get as good of mileage as youre showing although my needles stay burried for the fist 50 or so miles when i top off. i think it would be really cool to see pics like this to see what people are paying for gas and what kinda miles vs mods they run.. i know i go thru 35 bucks every 3 weeks on average (so glad i dont have the big black truck now) and of coure in oil land tx we pay about 2.80 right now (minus my 10 cent a gallon savings for buying gas and groceries at krogers) and i think my last fill up was at around 2.60 a gallon and run me 31 bucks.

thanks for the post man it made me think about my mileage.

my tank would hit Empty at like 550mpg .... so even if that was all 18.5 gallons, i would still be getting 29 mpg which is damn good for a 13 year old car, dont you think?

and my evidence is that its not the worse case scenario, so im getting >30mpg

----

rebel: that was over the summer [pic taken 7/16/2007] - but yeah, that was regular ... its always expensive in Nashville for some reason

----

geoff: i kno what u mean, but mine stays consistent somehow ... like i said, 450-550 before warning light

That's flawed thinking man. I can get 280kms when the needle hits half.... but when I'm empty, its at 440km, everytime. I will have to fill the tank for 60L everytime I hit 440, give or take.
