Last mpg check was a month ago .... 33.4 mpg highway .... about 300 mi ... just cruising mostly at 65 or so ... no major traffic jams or other obstacles.
driver + camping gear (200)lb.
The gas station was rural ... not sure if it had ethanol or not.
Not exactly sure about city mpg ... probably 21 mpg or so.
Usual local gas purchased contains 10% ethanol ... not sure about other places in Texas.
MPG will probably vary with the season .... better in the warmer months.
Probably better mpg without ethanol.

'92 I4 and pretty much identical to gladis. (except I don't think I'll ever learn to do the 'granny' thing!)
Haha, I'm trying to squeeze as many mpg as possible. Though I just found out my tires are underinflated (they were around 25-30 lbs) The tires are rated 44 max, I got them up to about 38.
Basically you never go above 3000 rpm and try to find the sweet spots for the car to run (it runs 2200-2400 rpm at 60-65 mph, and 1600 rpm at 45 mph)
On that subject, anyone know how much you're supposed to inflate your tires to? (% of maximum rated)
I have a led foot and I am almost always driving without O/D unless I'm going over 50mph.
....? Why?
So far. it seems that i'm getting 21-23 mpg. (which is still better then my dodge shadow, and that car weighed half of that of my camry)
I haven't got to fill my tank all the way up. haven't had the car long enough.

99' Toyo Camry I4. It has 128,000 miles on it. With "OK" tires at good 32psi pressure, 70 pound sub woofer box in the trunk, and driving 80-90MPH cruising to work everyday and back, I'm hitting 26MPG. I wish I could go a bit higher though.
I used to get 34 Highway with my 94 v6 camry... City was around 31 or 32
It was actually lower but after I did a tune-up and seafoamed it the difference was night and day....
