Camry Ignition-Startup

I have camry 98 86k miles done.For last couple of weeks i am facing following issue.
When i start the car, there is sound from front which stays for some time , then goes away.
This is same sound, which one experience on ignition.Typically this is for 1-2 sec, just when one starts the car(ignition).
Yesterday, when i got this sound, i tried to switch off the car, but even though i switch off the car and removed the keys, car/engine kept running.Only when this sound went off , i was able to switch off the car.
Can any body help me to identify the issue.

my suggestion: capture the problem with video and sound and someone might be able to help.

Was this sound the starter motor continuing to turn? As if the starter relay contacts stuck together, continuing to provide battery power to the starter motor?

Take it to a parts store and have your starter tested. Sounds like it's sticking. Not an uncommon problem...sometimes it can be fixed by cleaning up the contacts on the outside, sometimes it has to be replaced.
