More digging at the dealer and the clamps look like are not specific for the trunck release.
I remember that a clamp similar to that is used for securing the cranck position sensor harness to the timming belt cover on top of the 4cyl engine. This one is also discontinued. I replaced it with one piece of hose and 2 zip ties, one zip tie clamping the hose to the cover screw and the other holding the harness to the first tie. It works perfectelly under the hood and looks factory

The one for the trunk release may actually be the same as the one for the harness.
Thanks for the info. It takes the worrying away by knowing that the handle comes with the instructions. If not I'll find a way of installing it. It can't be too hard. I was just hopping that the instructions come with a template for cutting the trunck lid linner, and spare me of trial and error fitting.
Handle should be here in 6 days.
