Well on the third generation I believe the stock hood is 45-50 lbs. and the carbon fiber ones are like 9 lbs.

Actually the carbon ones are mostly fiberglass and weigh about 30 pounds. Still save some weight though

That doesn't look anything like a stock Gen 4 hood - I wonder what it looks like on a car? I don't think that raised section would line up with the grille at all...
