3rd Generation tail light tint

ok another quick question because i just thought about this. There is a junk yard a couple miles down the street from me that have 2 1995 camrys as part cars. and im thinkin about going up there and getting 2 taillights from there for dirt cheap and buying some tint spray or w/e is best and tinting my tail lights almost maybe the redpeices off the trunk with revers lights and tint those too? for my question. what is the best tinting spray or w/e to buy? and where can i get it for pretty cheap? cause im still debating weather to keep the camry and have fun with it! or selling it and buying a 240sx hmmmm what u think guys? if u think i should keep it... what ideas do u have to really set my car off and make me happy with it

Definitely buy an extra set of tails if you plan to tint them. You want to return the car as close to stock as possible when you sell.

About the Cam or get a 240SX, as you know the 2 cars are like apples and oranges. I'd probably go with the 240 because it's RWD and it has a much bigger aftermarket than Camry.

Get the 240SX. Sorry guys, but that's the way better fun car. Camrys are sensible, reliable - SXs are sic. And Nissan build a fine machine too, nearly as reliable as the mighty Yota.

i still cant decide cause there is alot i want to do to the camry but i cant decide..... or should i just keep the camry for a couple years and see where i get with it then buy 240 if i dotn like it? is that a waste of money? or just pay the rest of my camry off and then sell and buy 240?

Go drive a 240SX. The decision is an easy one, if you have the money to get a sweet one.

My friend put window tint film on his Camaro tail lights, but it didn't look that good at all. Not to mention that it started to peel off after a while. He bought the spray tint and redid it. Do it right and use the spray tint.

240sx nowadays are overpriced or beat up from owners bad modding. Since alot of people are getting it cause of the immense aftermarket support it has and the drift scene I guess too.

ok so as for the 240..... i have to find one... hahah here in myrtle beach you dont get many cheap decent used cars lol! i had my eye on a 93 240sx s13 hatch for $3995 in great condition and a perfect project car! i was lookin into it and then poof! its gone. the only other 240 i found for sale here is a 97 s14 sport for 5k cash that has been sittin in the same spot for the last 2 years..... if it was like 2k i would consider but i doubt the car even runs now. but ill keep my eyes out.

It's easy Chris... I've done it to my Celica and Camry with no problems....

I wet sanded everything that was getting paint on it, and put about 8 light coats (iirc) on them...

If you want, you can put a clear coat on after to give them a more glossy look, I didn't, though...

Here's the Celica's tail's...

I did the front marker's too..
