theres nothin that "sucks" about the TRD exhuast. but it is quiet, a little to quiet for me, and there are better flowing exhausts out there for high power applications. somthing tells me ur friend is not at that point though.

i think they look ugly and have poor volume & tone - at least all the TRD Camry exhausts ive seen/heard

and TRD is overpriced by nature ...

Magnaflows are too quiet IMO. The tone is good but I could barely hear it. That's why I got me an Apex'i after getting 2 Magnaflows.

in the 4cyl i think a magnaflow sounds good, quiet but good. i think most mufflers will sound good as long as u have a resonator.

red circle is the resonator, blue is the cat-converter

the resonator is a MUST-HAVE! .... without it, the exhaust tones will be raspy and disgusting (yes, slightly louder ... but not worth it)

there's a resonator and a muffler? Or are they the same thing?
