3rd Generation butterfly valve?

I bought this throttle body and intake cleaner, part of a 3 step system to clean the engine. It's a spray and asks to remove the air intake boot and locate the butterfly/throttle valve.

Can anyone post a pic or tell me in layman's terms where this is? (5FSE engine)

Much appreciated,
Karl

Remove the air intake tube between air cleaner and throttle body. Butterfly valve will be at the opening of the throttle body. You can open and close it by manually turning the throttle thingy that attaches to the accelerator cable. What I did was fold a paper towel several times and open the valve, then push the paper towel under the valve to absorb the spray and gunk. Then while I held the valve open I sprayed the valve and used a toothbrush to scrub the crap off of it. All that stuff dripped down onto the towel which I was able to remove and throw out.

It's right under the red circle. Just take off your piping. All you will need is a 10mm socket and or Phillips head screwdriver

P.S.
Remove the straw from the spray can valve as you might loose it inside the intake.

Here's a link to a thread on another forum for cleaning of the throttle body. It has some great pictures. It's for a Toyota V6 engine but your engine should be almost identical:

marc780 also posted a good DIY thread on cleaning the throttle body on a 5SFE engine, in this forum. It also has some great pictures. Do a search for threads posted by marc780 and you should find it.
