i honestly did not know you could get so attached to a hunk of metal but using a heat gun to try to get sum badging off i melted a protion of my tail light aswell as chiped a piece of paint i honestly felt like i was going to cry =( didnt know it was possible
lol real funny you guys have to realize its already in ruff shape due to previouse owner if i didnt get it free i wouldnt have it but the inside and engine are good but the exterior looks like shit a scratch everywere dents bashed in corner on the rear whole front end is messed up so lol itys just i dont want it gettin worse lol im trying to fix it all il post pics tommorow if you want guys
i think someone did suggest a heat gun once in one of the threads i was reading ...
i used a hair dryer - much less risk
i saw that too.. i did my in the summer so i used the sun to warm it up. and used a 10lbs fishing line and took it off with ease.. and then the goo gone and wax to finish it off. cause of the paint fade you can see the outline at certain angle. =/

why the hell were u using a heat gun a hairdryer is more then enough to get it warm enough to remove. hell if u hold a flashlight up against it it will work too...ive tried it.
