:( damn hot day

Gen 3 help me!

well yesterday i went around to get some rear 6x9's installed at a shop and a guy wanted to chek the boot. so i openend the boot and as i closed it, the toyota emblem came off!

how the hell would i put it back on?

im wanting to take off the toyota emblem and the executive emblem off my boot. but out of all the ones that fall off its the middle one!

the guy told me that i could use double sided tape to put it back on, but im wondering how that would work? because isnt tape thick? i would b able to see the tape through the hoop parts i am not happy seeing my poor camry with holes in it.

the pegs came out? thats weird

most of the emblems are put on with double-sided 3M tape (its extremely thin) .... but the pegged ones usually have melted ends so as not to slip back through the holes

why is it called a trunk? :p well yeh...

hopefully when my mum is done with thecar in a few hours i wil be going shopping and chucking the logo back on.

how would i go about removing the "toyota" and "executive" badges from my boot/trunk?

would it have the same holes as behind the middle toyota emblem? its a shame because if there werent any holes i woulda cleaned up the gooey stuff and left the badge off

Because the lugs have bust off, I would use a flexible sealer/ adhesive, available in small tubes from any hardware store. Cut the nozzle very fine, the hole no bigger than a matchhead, and trace the tip over the back of the badge. Make sure you have cleaned the badge & bootlid well, no polishes or grease left, before you place the badge back in position. Squirt a small dab of adhesive into the mounting holes before you place the badge on, it will harden & work like factory.

What part of the "Great Southern Land" are you? Summer down under, hows the snow, our Northern friends? :p

hair dryer to heat them up, and fishing line or something thin behind them to peel them off

then use Goo Gone or some sort of adhesive remover to get the tape residue off .... and then wax and clean the area

and send me the Executive badge
