3rd Generation Think this would work or help?

I could get this. to fit, but would it help? Or does it have to be custom made to be wider then this?

1) bad quality
2) wont fit
3) easier to just find a good muffler and have the piping done custom

With a few custom parts and some welding I don't see how you couldn't get it to fit.

thats just as expensive as getting a shop to do custom piping

a good exhaust shop wont charge much for pipe, anyways .... $25-50 for an install is the going rate around here (plus parts cost)

What would you tell them to do? Make it straight? And leave the cat out?

How do you make the custom piping better then the stock? Make it wider? But to make wider make a difference wouldn't the manifolds and everything have to be made the same size?

any good exhaust shop will do whatever you want ...

if it were me, i would buy a muffler & resonator online .... bring it to the shop, and tell them i want 2.25" piping from the cat-back .... with the resonator placed in its OEM location and then the muffler

First thing's first what are you looking for- a louder is better for you or deep but still want it somewhat quiet or what? Figured out what you want outta of an exhaust then we can tell you some universal mufflers as an option that fits your criteria. Then what you do is get a resonator with the sizing you want which unless you going turbo 2.25" is more than enough then just buy an resonator for that size and then bring it to an exhaust shop and tell them to put those on and make you a system consisting of 2.25" all the way to the cat (thats what a catback is).

Ricetastic!

Now why would you want to put a Corolla exhaust on your Camry?

Cool thanks. Is the stock piping 2.5? so I would gain a 20th of an inch?

The stock piping for the i4 camry is 2" so if you want bigger the number is going to be bigger.

2"<2.25"<2.5"

V6 camry stock piping is 2.25" so either stay with that or go 2.5"

Its simple...

1. Buy a muffler.

2. Buy a High Flow cat.

3. Take it to a shop and tell them you want 2.5 inch (mandrel bent if you're not cheap)
