if ur gonna do duals, put on an X pipe and dont cheap out by running straight. Venom is right, u can run straight but its not a good idea considering the cost to install one. if u had small tubing then ur pretty much hurting the some of the performance. as said before one of the benifits, with an X pipe especially, is exhaust scavenging. if u eliminate the X pipe then ul loose that feature. and for all the time and money ur gonna spend on this ud want to get every bit of power u can out of it. not to mention it would sound like crap.

but keep in mind not many people have done it. id try to get in touch with the guy who Ptballer showd ya in that pic and ask him for his advice and opinions about doin it. hell prolly be able to tell ya better then we can.

So I guess the X is there for something after all and I guess I would have to consider puting it on since I don't want my car to sound like crap

He most likely made the pipes at the flanges that meet the header 2.0" because the header's main Flange that goes to the ypipe is sadly...2.0" as well... lol

my system is also 2.5", im gonna change out the headers, gonna buy the Ebay ones, go to the Custom Fab shop i went to, have the match the ports for each end...should do pretty well i think.
