Question the importance of speaker grills?(1999 camry le)

I have the very amazing focal k2p's for front components and had a question.
the focal grills that came with were not utilized for space reasons... however my car has the stock grills that goes with the rest of the door panel, will this be sufficient enough to protect my pricey investment?

are grills THAT important in protecting? i mean i know some people that just leave the speakers out there with no grills for showmanship...?

You will definitely want the stock grills on there, because they are strong and will protect the speakers from your feet or whatever else may contact them. Just leave the factory ones, they conceal your investment better from thieves as well.

stock ones should be fine, as long as you arent crazy with flailing your feet when you get in or throwing stuff by them u should be fine and even if you did the stock grills are pretty tough. I really wouldnt worry about it
