Monroe Struts 30% off 'til 11am this morning.........
Pep Boys has 30% off Monroe struts......(I'm assuming this includes the "QuickStrut").........and am thinkin' about buyin' all 4 for my '98.
That would be a significant savings.....................UNLESS..........I decideto go w/ KYB GR2's & just stick w/ individual pieces........(struts, rubbers, stoppers).
?????????????

no, tokico's ride is how a car SHOULD feel ... i cant stand my ride being so bouncy, especially since i drive it hard
i need more performance & response out of my suspension

You'd better match that up w/ some eibach's or you'll be ridin' on all strut!!
Then again, you might be a good candidate for coilovers anyway. (Some adjustables & then you can play w/ whatever feels best to you)

If you have alot of potholes don't be surprised when the coilovers get shot really quick because of the potholes.

Gen 4 ('98).
Came out to $500 when it was all done.
$118.99 per assembly, plus tax.
I think it was some time this summer that they had 'em for $175ea. w/ a $25 mail-in rebate per strut. That'd still have been $600+!!
I wasn't sure if the 30% off would include the QuickStruts this morning, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Well, glad I did!
Venom,
Them Tokico blues w/ the red springs are almost too damn pretty to put on!!!!

$500 for just struts? Seems a little steep to me. I spent about $250 on my Tokico's and I love them.

Monroe QuickStruts include everything you need, not just the struts.
$500 total for 4 isn't bad...

You need to know what a QuickStrut is............
http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/m...quickstrut.cfm
That's EVERYTHING from top to bottom, preassembled & ready to bolt in!! Mount, Strut, Spring, Stopper, Rubbers, Boots.....EVERYTHING!!!
$500 is C-H-E-A-P!! And definitely the cheapest I've ever seen before on the QuickStruts!
