3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I honestly think its a waste of a domain name + bandwidth.
There isn't enough interest to warrant a dedicated forum to the gen3...
What you could do... Is create a site, not a forum... The site should contain everything about the gen3 from head to toe. No filler just the bare facts...
Links to suppliers for aftermarket and oem parts, a VERY concise FAQ... etc etc.
I know we have stickies for that but its a bit disorganized.
Besides theres already other forums... dealing with some aspect of the camry...
camryforums.com, toyotatuners.net...

Many people start various forums in hopes of gathering people who are interested in various topics. But in reality you may get 1-10 members or so, all of which are friends of yours. You will make a decent amount of posts and threads, but after a few weeks or months no one will visit and it will die.

I say do that and put the new website in a sticky about a super camry info website in every camry forum. That way ppl will always be on it, and adding things to it.

That's just how most of these things work
