battery?

i know the yellowtops and all are gel and u can tip em ect but do they actuly produce more power or last longer?

They don't produce more power (voltage), but they usually do have more cold cranking amps than a standard battery, have more reserve capacity, they can dis/recharge faster for use with high power stereo systems, and do last much longer than a "wet" cell battery.

I have the optima yellow top. Correct me if I'm wrong but because its the gel/dry cell like uibalnme mentioned, you can really draw the battery down close to, if not killing it totally and it'll charge back up without a loss in capacity. I love my optima yellow top.
