3rd Generation Help me with tire size.

Ok well I need advice on what size tires to get. I got 17" wheels, 1.8" drop, and I want to put a body kit on. From the research I've done I was thinking
215/45/17 tires. Does anyone think that would be too high or low with what I have?

Thanks.

enter the stock size, then find a size with the least % change in speedo ^ (using the new wheel size)

thats the most common size but if u did 225/45 ud get a wider footprint as well as filling out the wheel well more or a 215/50 to fil the wheel well more. i had 215/45 on my gen3 with the 1.8 sprint springs drop and it fit well but left a little fender gap and were not as wide as i wanted.

I would recommend 215/50/17 or 215/45/17

I saw your car, it looked like if you put a body kit on it you would have less then a inch of clearance. With a 1.8" drop and 17"s with a body kit isn't that going to be really close to the ground? I got my estimate of 215/45 from the "Let's talk offset" thread. A guy with 17s and a body kit had them, I don't know if or what drop he had.
