Japan or US

Could Someone tell me how to tell if my car was made in japan or u.s. because I need replacement wiper blades and apparantly that matter? Thanks. I got a 98 camry le v6.

look at your VIN
if it begins with a J its a japan made camry....if it begins with a number, its a US made camry
it also says on the door jamb, point of final assembly location

my gen 5 is 4T....its a kentucky made (TMMK) line two camry
theres a thread somewhere here that shows how to read VINs
you can tell engine, trim level and everything just by the VIN....its also useful because you can tell what type of toyota oil filter your camry takes by the engine letter in your VIN

my 93 SE starts with a 4 as well. not sure on the build date though. i'd have to go and look.
