Removing passenger door panel on my 92

Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum.
I need to replace my passenger side mirror. It looks pretty simple, just pop the cover off the door, unscrew the mirrow and unplug the electrical. the only problem is i can't get the door panel off to get to it. I unscrewed it and everything. but it still wont budge. Any ideas? Thanks!

the trick is that you have to kind of yank the bottom out and then pull upwards on the door to slide it up and out

Are you sure you need to remove panel to replace mirror? Mine are powered. Carefully pry the black plastic off from the inside, remove screws and work wire connector up to disconnect. It's been a while but pretty sure I didn't remove panel. (BTW, there's a screw hidden behind the red marker light if removing panel.)

I recently did this on my 94. it should be the same as your 92. Like Dave's says, you shouldn't have to remove the entire door panel to change the miror. Just pop off that black triangle piece behind the mirror and the rest is as Dave's described. This is a 5 minute job, off and back on.
