CAI not often noted?

ok ok i know as most of us do that nether a short ram or a cold air will add alot of hp around 5 maybe? thats not the topic however i would like to know if it actually increases acceleration characteristics i think it dose on mine but i am not sure please keep this thread acceleration related

The minimal increase is arguable that if it was a lil slower or lil faster you wouldn't be able to tell but since the car is louder and your wallet is lighter one can't help it but to justify that idea.

there are plenty of different ideas/theories about short rams and cai performance...

and there is no definitive answer. sometimes it adds power, sometimes it doesn't. what it does seem to do quite DEFINITIVELY though is that it can change throttle response and the characteristics of the power band.

please do a search and you'll see all the arguments that tell both sides of the story.

this is locked before another long argument ensues.
