take ALL of the little black clips/screws out of the carpeting on the inside of the trunk lid (they are all around the edges, so look carefully ... the grey carpeting will fall right out once you get all of the clips/pins/screws out)...

then there will be 8-10 gold nuts on LONG gold bolts ... they are 8mm, i do believe ... take all of those out - youll need a deep-socket if youre going to use a ratchet to get to them (i loosen them with a ratchet, and then do the rest with my fingers ... they arent on that tight)

then there are two rubber caps/stoppers ... one on each end of the trunk, rip those out and they will reveal two more silver nuts (also 8mm i believe) .... take those out

then you should be able to pry the center panel off ... it will be difficult, but not so difficult that the piece bends much - if it is bending, then you forgot a bolt

ill try to remember the locations of each bolt .... i would take a picture, but im away @ college :-/

+ the 2 corner bolts under rubber stoppers
+ one bolt dead-center
+ one bolt by each bulb
+ one bolt inside a circular hole in the metal (you will know what im talking about when you see it) - one on each side
+ one bolt towards the outside of each bulb (not as close as the first one) .... one on each side

i think thats it
