STOP fuse problems

wassup guys
in the past month, my STOP fuse blew 3x...this is getting ridiculous because when it blows, i cant shift the car out of Park since it does not sense that i'm stepping on my brakes...so i changed the fuse the first time, blew 2 weeks after, then blew again yesterday (2 weeks after again).

and when it blew yesterday i had to go thru 4 fuses within 10 minutes...they blew one after another

what do you guys think the problem could be? an electrical short somewhere?

i need some feedback thanks

Doesn't solve your problem but isn't there a button to release the park lock?
Have you checked your brake lights for corrosion? Look at the switch on the pedal as well.

There is a green wire with a red stripe in the trunk area, which powers the rear two stop lights .... inspect for bare insulation and general integrity. There is also a solid red wire that goes from the light failure sensor to the high mounted stop light in the back window.
If not either of these two wires, then it is possible that there is some sort of internal short within the stop light sockets .... If you are blowing fuses when you check the suggested items, you can use a suitable multimeter .... amps mode ..... to temporarily jump across the stop fuse .... just keep a close watch on it and don't allow any sustained short circuits.

Check the wiring harness in the trunk where it jumps from the body to the trunk lid at the hinge, this often becomes chaffed over time.
