You probably need to retract the parking brake shoes so that they are not interfering with the inner drum.
Aside from that, use rust penetrating oil on the lugs and lug holes if that is where you have rusted so badly that it is seized.

But the rotor spins freely and the caliper and holder is out of the way right?

there are two holes on the rotor, you can try use the caliper screws in those two holes and turn the screws evenly to push it out, also you may try use force, put a piece of wood stud on disc surface, and get a 12lb hammer and hammer the wood stud, it should come out eventually.

So it just sounds like it is stuck, nothing special other than some lube and hammer time is needed I guess

Don't use a hammer unless it is absolutely necessary. Use 2 corresponding screws in those 2 screw holes to lever the rotor off, as bronzemaxell pointed out. That's what they are there for. The rotor is rusted to the hub. It will come off that way. You will probably hear a pop sound when it breaks free.
