They will never be cause they don't break down LOL
All classics spend 10 out of 12 months sitting in the garage. The other 2 they spend on a trailer.

Sadly, unless heavily modified, they will just fade away into obscurity just as most economy oriented cars do.

Also since about 5,000,000,000,000,000 of them were built.
Reminds me of top gear, they aren't pretty, they aren't interesting, and they certainly aren't rare

The Cressida has a chance. But not the Camry!
I think the Camry will be respected though.

It's a very long shot, but the only 3rd gen that might have a slight chance is the SE, especially the SE coupes.

the gen3 or 4 will never be classics. what could possible make them classic to anyone but us. they are not fast, sporty(only the 92-93 SE is close to sporty), they dont have the look of a classic and they dont have the fallowing and fan base necissary to be a classic. the gen3 will and is know as one of the most influential cars ever, but only because it set a standard for midsized sedans world wide.
the biggest problem i see with it being a classic is that there are SO many around, and with the long shot exception of the 92-93 SE, none of them stand out amongst the rest of the market.

And try 30 years or more and by then we may not even drive gas powered cars so all of em will be classics.
