3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Does anybody know if there is any place at all you can find the TRD Supercharger they made for the 01 Camry LE V6 (MT)? I have searched everywhere and I think the only way I'm going to find one is to either get lucky on ebay one day or go search every junkyard across the nation for Camrys and just happen to find somebody who wrecked their Camry that just happened to have the supercharger installed.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
yeah, the one on solaraguy was cheap, really cheap, but for someone who knows what theyre doing. it was missing something or something like that. well, anyways, its gone.
but goodluck
Charley
dnt mention the supra engine, its possible if you have the time and money to do it but theres no reason for it, just go and buy a used supra if you want the power because buying the engine and installing it in a camry would cost the same as buying a supra

if you're thinking "what ifs", then do a search and come back when you have an educated question please...there have been more than enough threads about the 2jz in the camry...and all points that can be made have been made....

Again, totally kidding. I refer back to my ORIGINAL question and the SUBJECT OF THIS POST! Thanks for hatin...
no prob...you already got a response to your "what if", so that's why it has to be nipped in the bud
geoff- on a car with a full exhaust (minus performance headers and y-pipe) and an intake and tuned with an safc, the average is about 200whp for an auto. for a manual, about 220whp.
that is compared to a stock 155-160whp for an auto with bolt-ons and 170-175whp for a 5-speed with bolt-ons. so, an approximate gain of about 40-50whp from a 4psi setup.
