4th Generation Quick Alignment Q.

Do these cars need a 4 wheel or 2 wheel alignment?

Alright, so it's different from my Volvo then right?

These cars require 4-wheel alignments. The rear toe is adjusted first, then the front is adjusted and tracked to the rear. They both work together, it's not 2 seperate alignments.

You need a 4 wheel alignment, the back is adjustable on a camry.

Yes, the promblem might be in the front but you have to align the back first before you can align the front.

It depends on the type of car, like trucks for instance with solid axles, the back is not adjustable, so its only a 2 wheel alignment for them, and so on.

First off, yes you need a 4-wheel alignment. The only factory adjustments for the Camry are front and rear toe. You can get a little camber movement from the struts as well, but it's usually only about 3 tenths of a degree.

If it's pulling hard left, check your tire pressure, tread from one side to the other, and make sure it's not just an off-center steering wheel situation. Because as far as an actual front angle alignment pull on a Camry, there's not much you can do except replace bent parts

You could be getting radial pull from your tires. Swap the front tires and if it makes any difference. And yes, you need 4 wheel alignment on these cars.
