It was a sad, very sad day...

This happened just a little over a year ago. I was driving on the freeway on the way to work one cold November morning. I was in the far right lane getting ready to get off on my exit when I see smoke and brake lights a little ways up in the left lane. All of a sudden a car skids sideways into my lane and I smash into their back end, spinning them around a few more times, and in the process totaling my car.
Thus was the demise of my Gen 3.5 Camry DX. I had a number of awesome mods done to the car including: 17" ADR polished silver rims (I'm not much of a chrome fan), TRD muffler, Injen intake, Eibach lowering kit, clear corners, fog lights, REALLY dark tint (5% rear, 20% front), panasonic stereo with aftermarket speakers front and rear plus two 12" MTX subs. There's probably a few others that I'm missing... Anyway, I put a lot of time into this car and if you're on here reading all the toyota posts, I'm sure you're quite the same with your own car.
Here's some of the pictures of the car after the accident...
PS. I now own a Gen 4.5 '01 Camry LE V6 (MT). I absolutely love it but I have a lot of memories with the old car as I had it since I was 16 up until I was 23. Good years

Ouch. I'm glad to hear you're alright. It always sucks when someone has a wreck (especially in a gen 3!), but it sounds like your new car is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the well wishes. She definitely kept me safe... Nothing but a bruised chest from the seatbelt. Sad to see her go. And it was somewhat of a disturbing experience ripping everything off of it
