Turning off check engine light

I have a 1999 Toyota Camry with 185,00 miles on it. Last week, my oxygen sensor went out. I replaced it myself, but need to reset the check engine light. Anyone have a clue on how to do this? Thanks!

you need an OBD II scanner. Go to any Autozone, Advanced Auto, Napa, or Pep boys and ask them to clear the code for you. They should do it for free.

Hi,

Do you change both of sensors or just one? How can you figure out which went wrong? I have also 1999 Camry V4. The quote from garage is about $300 to replace the oxygen senor. I want to replace it myself in order to pass the inspection. Which brand and where did you purchase Oxygen Senor and how much does it cost? Thanks in advance.

You can. You don't need an OBD/II scanner, all you need to do is disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable from the terminal for several minutes.
