Well in looking into turboing the 5SFE I was looking at fuel upgrades. I am looking at fitting in the Supra 440cc injectors. I had a few questions about other fuel upgrades for those of you that have gone that far.
1) Who has gone to an Adj FPR? Which brand did you chose and how do you like the setup? If nobody has gone this route what would you guys recommend?
2) Is the Supra TT Fuel Pump a drop in replacement? How about the Walbro 255lph pump? What fuel dmands can either of them meet? Anyone have install pics of either on their car?
3) Has anyone gone ahead and upgraded Fuel Filter? If so what size, and micron filter element have you used?
4) Are there upgrades for the Fuel Rail?
5) What are the base Fuel Pressure specs?
Thanx for the info guys...hopefully we can all get some good info out of this thread.

If I remember correctly Steve Meisner has a Aeromotive adjustable fpr.
My friend also has one (Aeromotive) on his supercharged Mustang.

I believe the stock Supra TT fuel pump is 255lph and it should be a direct drop in replacement.
There are many 'Universal' Adj. FPR's out there. Of them, the weapon-R is probably the best. As for injectors, Venom's are a substantial upgrade for forced induction, as is there fuel pump. There are many choices, I'd stick with a brand you trust.
Anyone have the specs for the Weapon R FPR? Never even seen it, I think i'll go either Aeromotive, or SX Performance (exactly the same). I talked to Steve Meisner and he seems to like his setup, so i'm going to try one of those FPRs unless the Weapon R ones look good, i'll look up some info.
The Supra TT fuel pump flows 290 LPH, but its external size is actually a bit bigger than the stock pump or the Walbro unit. The Walbro unit should be a direct drop-in, but make sure you also buy the hardware that goes with the pump (electrical connector and fuel hose).
The price on the Walbro's are attractive... about $110 USD for a pump. I have had Walbro pumps on my cars, and they are proven to be very reliable and consistent IMO. My Camry also has dual in-tank Walbro pumps right now. The only downside to the Walbro's are the noise that they create....
255 LPH should support roughly 400 HP (depending on car), but 400HP is a conservative and safe estimate. A Supra TT fuel pump would support up to 500 HP with no problems.
For fuel regulator, try to look around FPR's that are for domestics (or domestic brand name). Brands such as Vortech, Mallory, Aermotive, Holley, etc... are race proven and are capable of 1000+ HP (-6AN or -8AN ports). I would stay away from lower-level brands such as Arospeed, Ractive, Tenzo, etc... because the last thing you want is some Taiwanese quality control for a part that is responsible for fuel delivery (fire hazard).
For the fuel rails, the stock ones will be more than enough for your needs. I would only consider fuel rail upgrades if I will be running 550+ cc/min injectors

Tony the stock 5s-fe fuel rails are capable of supporting well over 900+ to the wheels... Its the same fuel rails they use in high high horsepower MR2's in Japan...

Wraith, my advice was a general application for most of the factory fuel rails out there... What diameter (ID) is the 5S-FE fuel rail? It can be easily calculate how much the rail is going to support HP-wise and its safe limits by knowing the ID. I know guys who have made big power numbers with dinky fuel rails, but to me, there is no disadvantage in getting an aftermarket fuel rail that would probably cost $180 USD at most -- well worth if for a peace of mind

The 7M-GTE injectors I believe are low impedance... you will need a resistor pack to run them so your injector drivers at the ECU won't get fried.
As for physical size, I am sure it will fit with minor modifcations with the fuel rail spacers or O-rings. Both injectors are lucas-type for imports so it should fit into your stock fuel rails.

I'd rather avoid the whole resistor pack route I know that the MKIV Supra NA injectors are compatible and high impedance but they are jsut rated 315cc (360 at our fuel pressure).
I'd really like to go with somehting a lil bigger than 360cc.

For the gys out there running 5sfte motors, are there any of you using injectors other than the green-top NA Supra injectors? I'm having a hard time coming across a set of those so i wanted to knwo what other options would work. What other high impedance injectors will work?
