He's probably on his way to the CP meet in Maryland!

That's ok I don't like to bother that's why I don't bump this thread up like to look high and low before I bug people but I tried looking everywhere even in the toyota service manuals.
What makes sense is that when sticking the upper spring seat with the bearing+ strut mount the bearing falls off. That's why I think there is something that holds that up.
The rears are good to go just the fronts have the bearings which was for the gen 3.5 models. Manuals tend to forget about the bearing using camry models lol.

Heres the pic from asg14's camry- only putting up since the stock settings might have this thread up to 4 pages by now (mine shows 2 pages since i upped the posts per page).
Theres the rubber boot which is the upper spring seat insulator also and there is the strut mount. There is something that is in between the strut mount and the rubber boot thingy. It's detached from the strut mount that's what is bugging me creeps228.
His hand is on the strut mount now look a little lower another black non rubber circle piece thingy is there.

What exactly is your question again? After reading all these posts I'm confused myself, haha.
So basically you want to know what holds the bearing? It fits over the top of the upper spring seat with the bigger circular rubber gasket facing up.
It goes: upper strut mount > bearing > upper spring seat > boot with upper spring insulator > spring > lower spring insulator > all of this over the strut piston
And of course the bump stop should go over the piston already.
Those are all the parts on a Gen 3.5 strut assembly, I've done and redone mine over 3 times now.
If you still aren't sure, just go to the dealer and ask the parts dept. if you can look at a diagram of a 95-96 strut assembly to see if you have all the parts.
Now get it all put on already!

I have the boot with the upper spring insulator and that's it!!!
I don't have the upper spring seat and not one website mentions it!!! Could it be in the suspension components section where insulator is link and seat is another link???
Went down and used penetrating oil on all the nuts and stuff that is going to be taken off for the suspension install. Letting it sit overnight so the job tomorrow won't be a bitch to do lol...

Been a while but I was only able to install the front because of schedules of my cousins and the rear is being put on tomorrow.
So far I have to take it off again since it is making some loud clunk noise when turning hard left or right???
Depending if I take it off again or not for the front i'll borrow a camera from someone and put up the pics of the front as it is now for others to see.
Compare it to any other steelie equipped camry since I only have steelies for now.
Judging by Venom's pics of how it is dropped on his camry from the front it looks about the same in the front but hard to tell by the pics unless he gets a close up with maybe showing the gap with the finger.
Right now it looks weird as the front is dropped and the rear is stock lol...

Just a question is there any tips for lining up the strut to brake stuff (steering knuckle??) to put in the 2 bolts in right easier???
I did it over 4 times and my cousin had a bitch of time to line it up took to long and too much strength lol...
That what took the longest everytime... never could find a easier way
I usually use a marker or whiteout to mark the position of the top mount in relation to the spring and bracket of the strut. Then you just line up your marks when you put everything back together.
It's in done awhile..... been awhile car been parked for a while had a back spasm been recovering alignment is in need but while the car is sitting there the springs should be settling in now.
It looks good since the front been on for a while they should be settled more than the rear. Too bad I have steelies would love to see how it looks with 18's.
Pics when I borrow someone's camera

Did you ever find out what the noise was from the front?
