How to pass wires through firewall?

I recently bought a Gentex Auto-Dimming Mirror with Compass/Temp Gauge for my car.

Is there a good location to run this wires for the temp sensor through the firewall? I looked and I was thinking perhaps around the throttle linkage area.

It's just a pair of 18 GA wire, so nothing huge like AMP wires.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a alarm on the car, if so follow that hole.
A good spot is above the pedals, just mark a spot check clearance and make a hole

I do have an alarm, but it's the factory RS-3200 alarm. Thanks.

if you have an alarm then there def is a wire or 2 going threw the firewall look by the firewall on the drivers sides or look from the pedals and see along the firewall if you can see where the wires come in
