Hi, just wondering if there is a way to have the doors automatically unlock once the the car is shifted from drive to park.

Thanks

This could be done ... Basically, all you do when you push the unlock switch is to pulse a control terminal on the doorlock control IC, so that it is momentarily grounded. You would have to install a relay, and come up with a custom circuit design so that when the neutral start switch was shifted to Park, sequencing through the Reverse gear select position, a momentary ground pulse would be generated. You would also probably want a toggle switch to optionally disable the relay. Your custom circuit should only activate the unlock pulse when going from Reverse to Park, and not from Park to Reverse ... Altogether, not a major project, but not just hooking some wires together.
