Wood Dash on the 96 Coupe

I've been thinking of installing a Wood Dash kit on the 96, and so the Wife was nice enough to buy me one for Christmas!

The Car had a OEM wood dash when I bought it, but it was extremely faded and cracked from sun exposure, so I removed it shortly after I got it.

She ordered it from "The Wood Dash Experts" in Roselle NJ. The Quality and fit and finish is pretty good, Nice thick pieces. The install was straight forward and simple with clear instructions. Here's a few pics!

Not bad man. Looks like a clean install. I'm not a huge fan of the wood thing (it's probably an age thing) but it doesn't look bad.

Looks nice Joe.

I've been thinking about putting a wood dash in my '95XLE. Still on the fence though. Gotta get my suspension upgrades done before I consider any more expenditures on cosmetic changes. Glad to hear it was a relatively easy install though. That's good to know when considering the cash outlay

doesnt look bad at all. IMO, it would look better if your interior was black.

Yea, heard that...I need to save money for the steering rack on the 94, but hay, when the wife buys car stuff, I don't argue!!

I agree, but I don't think black interiors were available in the Gen 3/3.5

Looks beautiful! I've been thinking about a new wood dash, and I was wondering what the name of the wood was called? Our interiors are the same color, and I think it would dress my interior up alot. Thanks!

Thanks! I'm thinking of going a little darker with the Mahogany, but thanks a million for the link. The prices are very reasonable, and I can't wait to order it for my Cam!

What about the steering wheel? I think some wood on the wheel would look good too.
