4th Generation Installed new mp3 player, no tuner audio

hi,
i just installed a new pioneer DEH-P2900MP in my 2001 camry with the help of your forum which linked me to this web page: (http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/869037.pdf)
i searched for a couple of hours before i found it and thank you very much for supplying it.

anyways, upon completion of the installation i get no audio from the radio. i see there's a port in the back of my new radio for an antenna but there wasn't one plugged into the stock radio. i used a wire adapter to hook it up and although i had nothing to hook up with the orange wires (i'm assuming those are the tweeters) every other wire was used.

i observed on the wiring guide from the previous link that there is a power antenna wire that is blue, and coming out of the back of my new radio is a blue wire that is labeled "remote control" which had a splitter or something on the end that could hold two incoming wires. i linked these two together because they were color coded, but was this my mistake? should i have connected the blue wire to the antenna instead? is the remote control wire only if i had radio controls on the steering wheel or something? please help!
thank you

disregard.. what i thought was the power cable was actually the antenna, and i had plugged it into the wrong port. i also disconnected the blue wire since that was not for the remote. it's working fine now.
