3rd Generation Do I need to change the engine torque rod?

Any suggestions? My 95 camry feels smooth while driving, and nothing seems strange.
Do I still need to change it? If so, how to do it? Do I need some special tools, like a engine jack?

Thanks!

"if it aint broke, dont fix it"

if your engine is lurching forward/backward or vibrating a lot at idle, then its time to change all the mounts - otherwise, no reason to mess with something that works fine

Is it an easy job? Do I need to jack up the engine? I really want to change it but I don't know where to start.

Thanks

the engine wont explode or fall out of the car if the tq mount breaks ... its still being held in by the front and rear mounts

its pretty easy to replace the dogbone torque mount though

go ahead and replace it, no jack needed or anything, just a bit of pushing

and even though the car may feel fine, it should be changed when it becomes like that because there is now more stress on your other mounts since this one isn't doing its intended job

All you need is a single wrench. The part itself can cost only $12 for a BRAND NEW one if you know where to look. I don't know about your area, but there's a bunch of "DISCOUNT AUTO PARTS" where i live. and yes... they're legit. LoL. I don't settle for cheap stuff.

No other tools needed. it should be a 5 minute job. really easy. depending if you have trouble taking it out or putting it on, it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes max.
