2000 Camry driver door power lock not working (pic inside)

Hello-
My 2000 Camry driver's side door lock isn't working properly. I've searched around, but haven't had much success with help. The lock behaves completely normally except when invoked electrically. Symptoms:

1) Keyless entry locks/unlocks all doors but driver's
2) Double key-turn in passenger door locks/unlocks all doors but driver's
3) Single key-turn in driver's door locks/unlocks drivers door
4) Double key-turn in driver's door locks/unlocks all doors (but the driver's door is already locked or unlocked from the first turn of that mechanical double key-turn)

So it looks like the problem is electrical rather than mechanical. I've pulled the paneling off and I'm sitting in front of the door right now. There's some plastic covering the door and I see lots of wires, and it's rather evident which ones connect to the driver's door, but I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere. Nor do I have a continuity tester on me. I can go pick one up, but I thought I'd post first to see if anyone had some advice. So, on that note, any advice?

Thanks! -J

PS. Here's a picture what I'm looking at, if that helps!

Take a look at the following link ... said to have the manuals.
You will want Gen 4 wiring diagram.
http://camrystuff.com/
see p. 148 ... or there abouts.
I have heard your complaint before ... maybe I can find the relevant thread.

There should be two wires going into the driver door lock motor module ...
One wire is light blue with a red stripe, and the other is light blue with a black stripe ...
.... these wire colors are for the section directly next to the door lock motor ... towards the outer key lock area.

It might be useful if you could determine if there was continuity between the two wires ... that would tell you if the lock motor is burned out or not. ... Not sure if it is just stuck or burned out.

I think you can get a bargain multimeter at most electronics stores .. a few dollars.

I think there is a manual mechanical operation ... that is separate from the motor ... which is why the key locks/unlocks.

Is your car made in US or Japan .... Does your VIN begin with a J ?

Wow, you guys are fast - thanks! I'm looking at the wiring diagram right now and I'll get back to you shortly about what I come up with, although I think I'll need to run to the store and grab a continuity tester to do much good.

In the meantime, I also wanted to note that the physical plastic switch on the inside of the door has a little more "play" in it than the other doors. This could simply be because the door frame is off, but I've attached a video just in case: http://www.designfad.com/2000_camry_lock_jiggle.mov

Incidentally, it is a Japanese car, model XV20L-AEPNKA. The "J" is for my name, Jordan. : )

Thanks again - back soon...

Is the switch in the video ...w/red bar ... the master door unlock switch?
Do you get the same delay type action when the right hand master lock switch is pressed?

.... Trying to determine if the problem is due to the electrical switch, or due to something sticking in the door lock motor actuator.

If you think the problem is the driver side switch mechanism, you might obtain a spray can of electrical contact cleaner ... and spray all the switch openings .... to get some of the solvent inside the switch....
Maybe somebody spilled coffee or soda into the switch?
