3rd Generation I Might Have to Sell It... (Who wants a turbo Camry?)

No, not the car. Just the turbo (and everything that goes with it). Just the turbo... That's not easy to say. To make a long story short, my transmission is beginning to act a little funny and I'm going to have to have some internal work done on it. The transmission guy told my dad that the transmission might need to be upgraded. The car is in my dad's name, and thanks to this horrible timing I'm flat broke so I will be borrowing the money from him to get this taken care of. He's hellbent on not upgrading a thing and is starting to push the idea of selling the turbo system and going back to stock pretty hard. The thing is, if he says I have to do, it has to be done, or no more Camry for me.

So, the question is, if I have to remove all of this stuff, would any of you guys be interested in buying the setup as a whole set from me?

I think I could do it for a decent amount cheaper than that, and if it were up to me, I totally would. The probably is with my funding source... =(

i hope you dont have to sell it, man -- idk what youre running for management, but you could always turn the boost WAY down, and then it wouldnt hurt the transmission as much .... give you enough time to save up and either build the auto or swap a manual

Yeah... I just don't know man. So much money has already been spent, and there's so much more I want to do.

Unfortunately swapping in the 5spd right now isn't an option, at all. Like Venom suggested, I should probably just turn down the boost and save up until I have enough to do the swap, and do it right. A word of advice, if someone "gives" you a car, make sure it's put into your name.

The same ones everyone else does, haha. The FMU I have on it feeds it plenty of juice I assure you. I do have some Supra injectors lying around somewhere...
