Swaping I4 for V6

Hello All,

I am looking for some advice. I have a 95 Gen 3.5 Camry. It has the straight 4 engine. I am not sure how, but we got a hole in the engine and it needs to be replaced. I was looking at a V6 from a 95. It is coming out of a wrecked Camry and has pretty low miles.

My question is would this fit with out having to mod anything else. I have a AT tranny and am pretty positive I would have to get new engine mounts.

If any one knows where I can get another 4CYL around Salt Lake City Utah for pretty cheap that would be a great help as well.

Thanks

i may be wrong but im almost sure ull need the tranny as well. the I4 auto cant handle the extra tq as well i believe.

search around here too, theres lots of useful info to be had. my advice...if ur gonna do the work to swap in a V6, ud be shooting yourself in the foot if u didnt swap in the e153 manual tranny as well.

you'll want the V6 wiring harness, ECU, Tranny, Tranny Mounts, and Motor mounts for sure.
