USA front panel bulbs

hey friends , the small bulbs which light up the front panel where you have the fan and the heater knob. there are two tiny bulbs. how much do they actually cost? are they not available at autozone or any store like that.
because i asked at the toyota dealers , they are asking for whopping 14 $. thats too much for those small little tiny bulbs.
can you suggest me a place where i can get cheaper ones?

You don't say what year or generation your Camry is and your profile doesn't show it. I just changed one of those out on a friend's 2001 Camry and 74 bulbs worked perfectly. They are available just about anywhere, including Walmart. You will have to remove the green sleeve from the old bulb and transfer it to the new bilb.

The attached link is a complete aftermarket bulb guide list for your car. Notice at the bottom it says something like misc. instrument panel bulbs and lists 194's (which it's not) and 74's. If you got 74's at Autozone, I would say give them a try. It doesn't take long to change them out and if the bulb out indicator on the dash is not on, that tells me that those bulbs are not monitored by the system like headlights, tailgihts and all the parking lights; so it probably won't do any harm.

Yeah, for my '97 Camry, I went to AutoZone, they didn't have them, called the dealership, they told me that they were $6.50 a piece, and that their was 3 bulbs. Went to the dealership, $4.50 a piece, actually only 2 bulbs. Only go to your dealer for the bulbs!
